A mid-rise (or waist-belted) culotte trouser-skirt featuring an invisible side-zip closure. The crotch depth is lowered to provide greater freedom of movement. The trousers are designed with a two-layer construction: a chiffon outer layer and a silk lining layer. Alternatively, it can be sewn as a single layer without lining if made from an opaque fabric.
